Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan revealed that he turned down the role of Bhagat Singh in the film “The Legend of Bhagat Singh.”
In a recent interview, Aamir Khan stated that he advised the director to cast a younger actor, aged 20-23, to accurately reflect Bhagat Singh’s real age.
Aamir Khan, at 40 years old, did not consider himself suitable for the role of Bhagat Singh.
The actor suggested that director Rajkumar Santoshi cast a younger actor, but Santoshi ignored this advice and cast Ajay Devgn instead.
Ajay Devgn’s performance in the film was highly praised, and he won the National Film Award for Best Actor.
