Recently, a travel enthusiast has highlighted an important point for fellow air travelers regarding choosing a comfortable seat on an airplane.
The traveler, John Burfitt, suggested that the worst seat on a plane could actually be the best seat for comfort.
While most travelers strive to get the best seat available, John Burfitt prefers the ‘worst’ seat on the plane, which is the window seat next to the bathroom.
Writing on escape.com.au, John claimed that although this seat might seem undesirable, it can actually be the most comfortable spot.
He shared an experience where he was repeatedly kicked in the back by a fellow passenger during the flight. After this experience, he vowed never to choose such a seat again.
John explained that towards the end of the flight, when he went to the bathroom, he noticed that the seat next to the bathroom had nothing behind it except a wall. If he had been seated there, no one could have kicked his back.
Additionally, John highlighted other benefits of this seat, such as avoiding the frequent pass of the drinks trolley, avoiding collisions with other passengers, and having a corner wall to lean against for sleeping.
