US Election 2024

As the stage for the US election festival is about to set, a sudden decision emerges, causing concern among the people.

The 81-year-old President Joe Biden seems to be stepping back from his position and has officially put forward Democratic Party’s Vice President Kamala Harris for the contest.

Kamala Harris’s mother is Hindu, and her father is of Christian faith.

Previously, the 81-year-old Joe Biden and 78-year-old Donald Trump were opponents, maintaining the possibility of elderly rule in the US in both scenarios. What is it that causes seasoned, significantly older politicians to confidently enter the field in the US? Are the elderly in the US truly so respected that no young or middle-aged candidate dares to take a shot at the highest office after Barack Obama? What did Donald Trump and then Joe Biden accomplish that makes the American public trust elderly candidates to lead the nation?

This would have continued with the game of victory and defeat between Trump and Biden, but Biden was suddenly struck by a fever. It wasn’t just any ordinary fever, and the results began to show as the illness started to take its toll.

Running the election campaign and dealing with the fever was not something an 81-year-old elder could handle, and it was heard that he had been infected by COVID-19.

This was a shocking revelation. Biden had already realized in his weakened state that he couldn’t compete this time around, despite his previously lofty claims. Thus, he conceded and handed over the reins to Kamala Harris.

During Donald Trump’s tenure, the religion card he played deceived the American public, but repeated cheating doesn’t work, which is why he fell face-first the second time.

However, he is gearing up for the field once again, this time with slightly different cards. For instance, he claims he will suspend activities and education in schools that lead to inappropriate behaviors among the youth.

Whether these activities are related to educational institutions, clubs, or social media is not the issue; what’s certain is that neither of the elderly candidates did anything remarkable during their terms to earn prayers in their old age.

On the evening of June 27, both elderly presidential candidates faced each other. Biden appeared hesitant and weary, his statements less enthusiastic and his voice weak and nasal.

The surprising part is that despite the US delivering plane loads of medicines worldwide, they couldn’t provide a couple of effective fever-relief pills to ensure the elderly presidential candidate’s fitness on such an important day. In this context, Biden’s statement is quite interesting:

“If God Himself comes down and tells me to step out of this race, only then will I step out, and God has not come down to say that.”

It means he considers himself such a superior being that only God can remove him from this race. Of course, the same God who could cause him hesitation and anxiety at the crucial moment can do much more.

Shaking hands with Israel’s Netanyahu, smiling at the open slaughter of innocent Palestinians, and approving the actions of the Jews without feeling anything. At an age where a person usually seeks God’s favor by doing good deeds.

In this situation, what hasn’t Biden done? Do they really believe that in today’s world, educated, conscious, and humanitarian Americans can forgive an 81-year-old elder for such horrors and destruction? The sympathy he gained from losing his young son can never force the parents who lost their children to forgive him.

There’s only a four-year difference in age between Trump and Biden, but now that one elder candidate has stepped aside for a younger one, the contest still seems to lean towards Trump.

Trump is known for his rhetoric; let’s see what happens between the 78-year-old man and the 55-year-old woman.

Donald Trump is a businessman with a passion for politics and even acting. Not long ago, during an election rally, there was shooting, and a missed shot grazed his ear.

It seemed like a scene from a grand movie where an elderly hero, passionately loved by the public, is suddenly interrupted by a bang, and a 20-year-old loses his life.

Who knows what happened there; we’ve seen similar scenes many times here, so we’re used to such scenes. Anyway, what does it matter to us who wins or loses in America? We’re engrossed in our own drama.

Sometimes it feels like the people worldwide become spectators of the same black-and-white films. Poor people… Nevertheless, the question remains why elderly rule is preferred in the US. Is the American nation really so conservative and respectful towards its senior citizens?
