U.S. Presidential election: Kamala Harris leads over Donald Trump

Washington: In the U.S. presidential election, Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris holds a lead over Republican Party’s Donald Trump.

According to a national survey conducted until August 22, 2024, Kamala Harris’s popularity stands at 48.4%, while Donald Trump is at 45.3%.

Previously, the Democratic Party’s nominated presidential candidate and current U.S. President Joe Biden, along with former President Donald Trump, were slightly ahead of each other in various surveys.

Kamala Harris was nominated for the U.S. presidency following Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race.

Harris officially accepted the party’s presidential nomination yesterday. In her speech at the party convention, Kamala Harris described the situation in Gaza as a complete disaster.

Kamala Harris stated that the consequences of Trump returning to the White House would be severe.

She criticized Trump’s previous tenure in the White House as chaotic and warned that what Trump did after the last election could be even worse, referring to his incitement of an armed mob to storm Capitol Hill.
