Two passengers arrested for traveling abroad on fake passports

Two passengers attempting to travel abroad using fake passports were arrested at Karachi Airport.

According to an FIA spokesperson, immigration official Muhammad Adnan, who assisted the passengers, was also detained.

The passengers, Muhammad Bashir and Rizwan Khan, were traveling to Canada on an international flight.

The Canadian passports presented by the suspects were found to be fake.

The passports were also examined at the Scan Line Office, which reported that the passports lacked various security features.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects obtained the fake passports for 10 million rupees each from an agent named Usman, who resides in Wazirabad.

The suspects have been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi for further legal action.

FIA Director General Ahmed Ishaq praised the team’s performance and stated that modern equipment at Scan Line Border Control Offices plays a crucial role in preventing human trafficking.
