Sunny Deol’s film ‘Border 2’ caught in legal dispute

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sunny Deol’s film ‘Border 2’ has landed in a legal dispute.

According to Indian media, Bharat Shah issued a public notice in the ‘Complete Cinema’ magazine, stating that he and Beena Bharat Shah own the international rights to the film ‘Border.’

In 1994, an agreement was made between JP Dutta and Bharat Shah that the film’s revenue would be split 50:50. However, JP Dutta did not provide financial details or share the profits.

Bharat Shah filed a case against JP Dutta in the Bombay High Court in 2014, which is now ongoing in the civil court.

The notice warns that anyone who makes a deal with JP Dutta regarding the rights to the film ‘Border’ does so at their own risk, as the matter is still in court.
