Slippery runway risk at Karachi Airport due to rain, NOTAM issued

Karachi: A NOTAM has been issued for Karachi Airport due to the risk of slippery runways caused by rain.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has advised aircraft captains to exercise caution due to monsoon rains affecting Karachi Airport.

According to the CAA, water accumulation on Runway 25L at Karachi Airport may lead to slippery conditions. All pilots are advised to exercise extreme caution during landing and takeoff.

The CAA has informed all airlines and aviation companies’ pilots of these precautions to prevent accidents due to the wet runway.
