Saudi Arabia denies involvement in Israeli strikes on Yemeni port city Hodeidah

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has stated that it has no involvement in the Israeli attacks on the Yemeni coastal city of Hodeidah.

A spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense said that Saudi Arabia has no connection or involvement in targeting Hodeidah in Yemen.

The spokesperson added that the kingdom will not allow any party to infringe upon its airspace.Israel launched airstrikes on Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah in response to drone attacks on Tel Aviv by Houthi rebels.

It is noteworthy that following Houthi drone attacks on Tel Aviv, Israel carried out airstrikes on Hodeidah’s port yesterday, resulting in 3 deaths and over 80 injuries.

The Israeli military stated that on Saturday, their fighter jets targeted Houthi military positions in the Hodeidah port area in response to hundreds of attacks from Yemen against Israel in recent months.

Meanwhile, the Houthi group has stated that they will effectively respond to Israeli attacks, target key objectives in Israel, and continue military operations in support of the Palestinians.
