Kyiv: The Russian Air Force conducted a major airstrike on the central grid station in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, resulting in the deaths of 4 people.
The airstrike involved the launch of hundreds of drones and missiles, forcing thousands of the capital’s residents to seek refuge in metro stations to save their lives.
This is the largest attack by Moscow in recent weeks, causing a widespread blackout that plunged a significant part of Kyiv into darkness.
In response to the attack, President Volodymyr Zelensky urged European countries to help intercept the drones and missiles that have been devastating his country during the over two-year-long war.
The Ukrainian president pointed to the U.S. assistance to Israel in intercepting Iranian missiles, stating that the value of life is the same everywhere.
