Rawalpindi: Police have arrested a son for assaulting his mother.In the complaint filed by the affected woman, she reported that her son, Wasef Yaqoob, was physically abusing her.
The police took immediate action and arrested the accused under the Parents Protection Ordinance based on the mother’s complaint.
According to the SP Rawal, all legal procedures will be followed to ensure that the accused is duly punished.Mistreatment of such a noble figure as a parent is unacceptable and regrettable.
