A Judicial Magistrate in Rawalpindi has canceled the non-bailable arrest warrants of Member of the National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat.
The hearing on the petition against the non-bailable arrest warrants of Sher Afzal Marwat was conducted by Judicial Magistrate Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz Hanjra.
The petition argued that the charge sheet of Sher Afzal Marwat’s case was not presented in court, and the arrest warrants were issued after Sher Afzal Marwat had left the country.
After hearing the arguments from Sher Afzal Marwat’s lawyer, the Judicial Magistrate canceled the non-bailable arrest warrants of the Member of the National Assembly.
Previously, non-bailable arrest warrants for Sher Afzal Marwat were issued for unauthorized construction on a plot near Thallian Motorway. A case was registered against Sher Afzal Marwat in 2019 at Naseerabad Police Station.
The court had issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Sher Afzal Marwat on July 15 due to his absence and had ordered his arrest by July 30.
