The railway bridge between Kolpur and Mach was destroyed in an explosion, leading to the suspension of trains traveling from Quetta to the interior of Pakistan.
According to Levies sources, an explosion also occurred along the railway track in the Bypass area, causing partial damage to the track.
Unknown individuals had planted explosive materials along the track.
Railway authorities reported that the bridge near Kolpur Station was blown up at 6:35 AM, resulting in the suspension of the Quetta-to-Sibi train operation.
Fortunately, no passengers or railway employees were injured in the explosion.
Railway teams are present at the site, and work has begun on the restoration of the bridge.
Due to the collapse of the bridge, the 39 Down and 40 Up Jaffar Express and the 3 Up Bolan Mail have been canceled.
The 221 Up and 222 Down Chaman Passenger Train have also been canceled.
