Washington: U.S. President Joe Biden, who had been ill with COVID-19, has reappeared and resumed his official duties following his recovery.
According to international news sources, 81-year-old President Biden arrived at the White House, putting to rest rumors of his death. On social media, the hashtag “where is joe” had been trending during his absence.
Supporters of the Democrats stated that President Biden’s absence was due to a positive COVID-19 test, and as soon as the test came back negative, he returned to public life.
U.S. officials also mentioned that President Biden had been quarantining at his home in Delaware for five days due to his illness.
President Biden, who has withdrawn from the presidential race, will be replaced by Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate to face rival Donald Trump.
Upon arriving at the White House, Biden briefly stated that he is feeling much better.
