Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the martyrs on Police Martyrs’ Day.

President Zardari further noted that police officers are sacrificing their lives while combating anti-social elements and terrorists across various parts of the country.
He extended his respect and gratitude to the police martyrs on behalf of the entire nation for their services and sacrifices.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute to the martyrs on Police Martyrs’ Day, honoring their great sacrifices.
He stated that Police Martyrs’ Day is a day to remember the immortal sacrifices of brave souls, who are a source of national pride.
The Interior Minister highlighted that police officers and personnel have always acted as the vanguard in combating crime and commended the exemplary services of police forces across all provinces for maintaining peace.
He added that police officers and personnel have made history with their blood in the fight against terrorism.
Mohsin Naqvi also mentioned that the sacrifices of martyrs like SSP Ashraf Marth and Captain Mubeen will forever remain in the hearts of the people.
