PPP Senator Sassi Pleyoo rejects digital census and criticizes power outages

Karachi: PPP Senator Sassi Pleyoo has stated that the people of Sindh have already rejected the digital census, alleging that the current census has underreported the number of Sindhi speakers. She denounced this “bogus and fabricated” census.

In her statement, Senator Pleyoo also criticized the allocation of Sindh’s seats to Karachi, which she claimed was done criminally and illegally, and warned that accountability for these actions will be demanded in the future.

She highlighted that Sindh is experiencing 18 to 20 hours of power outages, with residents of Thatta and Sajawal suffering immensely.

Despite this, WAPDA and other relevant authorities are not taking action. Pleyoo noted that Sindh provides the highest revenue, yet areas like Thatta and Sajawal face severe water and electricity shortages.
