Islamabad: The Power Division has rejected reports about the establishment of separate courts and police stations for dealing with electricity theft.

The division described the news circulating in various media outlets as entirely fabricated.

The statement further mentioned that the Power Division is not considering any such plans.

The Power Division emphasized that the federal government is running a campaign against electricity theft and is utilizing the services of all law enforcement agencies for this effort.

Additionally, the costs associated with the anti-theft campaign are not charged to consumers.
