The Islamabad High Court has granted SP (Senior Police) Saddar one week to recover Umar Sultan, the former security head of PTI founder Imran Khan.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq presided over the hearing regarding Umar Sultan’s recovery case.
The court directed SP Saddar to personally oversee the matter and update the court on the investigation.
The Chief Justice remarked, “Whether there is CCTV footage or not, do not mislead us. SP, you provide the information.”
SP Khan Zeb Khan confirmed that CCTV footage is available and investigations are underway.
The Chief Justice instructed him to personally handle the case and provide a new report.
The Chief Justice also told the lawyer that the police are responsible for the investigation, not the court.
He advised providing any relevant information to the police.
Chief Justice Farooq stated that SP Saddar Khan Zeb will conduct the investigation, and all findings should be communicated to him.
The petition for Umar Sultan’s recovery has been adjourned until next week.
