PML-N is widening gap between army and public, says Omar Ayub

Islamabad: Opposition leader Omar Ayub has stated that PTI is clearly the most popular party in the country and that the army is composed of the people.

He accused the PML-N of widening the gap between the army and the public.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, he said, “We had a meeting with our PTI founder Imran Khan.

The founder expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh and conveyed a message to Western countries that they are ignoring the massacre in Gaza.

We strongly condemn Ismail Haniyeh’s martyrdom in Iran, and Israel continues to make wrongful moves without any opposition. All countries should unite to establish peace in Palestine.”

He also announced a major rally on August 5 in Swabi at 4 PM, hosted by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

“This is clearly the most popular party in the country, and the army is composed of the people. PML-N is widening the gap between the army and the public,” he added.

He mentioned that Qazi Faez Isa should not hear their cases, and the Chief Justice should either hear the Toshakhana case himself or assign it to someone else. “We had release orders in our hands, but Bushra Bibi was not released,” he said.

He also stated that their social media team has been detained, and Rauf Hassan is in CTD custody with allegations that he placed explosives in the PTI office for 300,000 rupees.

Intelligence agencies have also detained their MNA Haji Imtiaz, claiming it to be an anti-corruption matter.
