Peshawar: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has allocated an additional 60 million rupees to 66 Tehsil Municipal Officers (TMOs) across the province.
According to a statement from the KP Finance Department, the additional funds are part of the budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 and will be used to cover employee salaries, pensions, and other outstanding payments.
The Finance Department has directed the 66 TMOs to complete the necessary procedures for utilizing these funds.
Additionally, the provincial government has also issued a new policy for teacher transfers.
The provincial cabinet has approved the posting of district cadre teachers within their respective districts.
The Department of Law and Parliamentary Affairs has instructed the Secretary of Education to ensure that all district cadre teachers currently assigned to other districts are posted to schools in their own districts.
Previously, the provincial government had implemented a transfer policy at the union council level.
