Pervaiz Kaleem calls Danish Taimoor disrespectful; claims credit for launching Faisal Qureshi

Director and screenwriter Pervaiz Kaleem has labeled actor Danish Taimoor as disrespectful and rude.

In a YouTube interview, the host asked Pervaiz Kaleem why actor Danish Taimoor, who was eagerly sought by film director Iqbal Kashmiri for his project, refused to work with him.

The host questioned why artists who once yearned for work are now unwilling to collaborate with directors like him, Iqbal Kashmiri, and Chaudhry Kamran.

In response, Pervaiz Kaleem said, “Danish Taimoor is unfortunate for not being able to work with Iqbal Kashmiri. Danish Taimoor considers himself the Rock Hudson (American actor) of Pakistan.”Recalling an incident, Pervaiz Kaleem shared, “I went to Danish Taimoor’s house for a film project. He was sitting on a swing with his legs pointed towards me. I am an elderly man, and seeing this behavior, I realized how much manners he had and how far he would go. Danish Taimoor is an ill-mannered boy. The reason his films flop is because of his disrespect. He is insolent, and even today, if he asks for forgiveness, God will forgive him.”

On the other hand, Pervaiz Kaleem claimed to have launched actors Faisal Qureshi and Saud in the film industry. He said that at Afshan Qureshi’s request, he gave a hero role to a young Faisal Qureshi.

Similarly, he offered a role to Saud after seeing him in Karachi. But both are ungrateful. If a picture of ingratitude were made, it would be of them because they don’t even greet on Eid or Shab-e-Barat.
