PCB decides to tighten noose around cricketers violating discipline

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to tighten measures against cricketers violating discipline during the T20 World Cup in the USA.

There has been a coordinated campaign by cricketers against PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, but the PCB has decided to impose restrictions on the players without yielding to pressure.

A committee consisting of former captain, senior manager Wahab Riaz, manager Mansoor Rana, and foreign head coach Gary Kirsten will handle the matter.

Sources indicate that Waqar Younis will be part of this process, and three reports concerning the national team players will be reviewed.

One of these reports is prepared by independent intelligence.

The PCB Disciplinary Committee will conduct a detailed review of these reports. A former captain will be appointed as the head of the committee to oversee direct actions.

Decisions regarding players will be made based on the committee’s recommendations, and the final recommendations will be implemented with Waqar Younis and Mohsin Naqvi involved.
