Paris: The Paris Olympics 2024 has broken the record for ticket sales.
A total of 12 million tickets were sold for the Olympics and Paralympics combined, surpassing the record set by the London Olympics 2012.
According to Paris organizers, 9.5 million tickets were sold for the Olympics and 2.5 million for the Paralympics.
In comparison, the London Games sold 8.2 million tickets for the Olympics and 2.7 million for the Paralympics.
The Paralympics concluded on Sunday.
