Pakistan’s Nasir Iqbal has reached the final of the ongoing Bega Open Squash tournament in Australia.
Nasir Iqbal defeated Switzerland’s Robin Gadola 3-1 in the event’s semi-final.
Nasir won the first game of the match, but Gadola equalized in the second game, posing a challenge to Nasir. However, Nasir managed to win the next two games with ease.
The score of Nasir’s semi-final victory was 6-11, 11-4, 2-11, and 3-11.
In the final of the Bega Open, which has a prize money of $12,000 and is taking place in New South Wales, Nasir Iqbal will face second seed Hong Kong’s Matthew Lai.
