Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange is experiencing a downward trend today, with the index falling below the 80,000-point level.
The business week started with a decline in the stock market, with the 100 Index falling below 80,000 points.
Last week saw a significant surge in the PSX, with the KSE 100 Index reaching its highest level of 81,500.
However, the previous week also ended with a decline, and on Friday, there was a severe downtrend in the stock market, causing the index to fall below the psychological level of 81,000 points.
Today, on Monday, trading began with a decline of 391 points, bringing the index down to 79,726 points.
Later, there was a major drop of 517 points in the PSX, causing the KSE 100 Index to further decrease to 79,600 points.
