Since the onset of Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, the number of Palestinians martyred in Gaza has exceeded 40,000.
According to statistics released by Gaza’s Ministry of Defense, 40,005 people have been martyred in Israeli attacks since the beginning of the conflict.
The data further reveals that 92,401 people have been injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes.
The Ministry of Health reports that 33% of the martyrs are children, and 18.4% are women.
At the beginning of this month, marking 300 days of Israeli aggression in Gaza, statistics showed that the infrastructure in Gaza has suffered severe damage, with direct losses amounting to $33 billion.
According to official figures, Israeli attacks have destroyed 198 government buildings, 117 educational institutions, 610 mosques, 3 churches, 150,000 residential units, 206 archaeological sites, 34 sports centers, more than 3,000 kilometers of electrical transmission lines, and 700 water wells.
Additionally, 34 hospitals and 68 health centers in Gaza have been targeted by Israeli strikes, rendering them non-operational.
