Peshawar: A notice has been issued to Brigadier (R) Mahmood Shah in the defamation case involving Faisal Amin Gundapour.
In a session held at the Peshawar District Court, Faisal Amin Gundapour, who is a member of the National Assembly and the brother of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, appeared in the 1 billion rupee damages case.
The court has issued a notice to Brigadier (R) Mahmood Shah.
The petitioner claimed that Brigadier (R) Mahmood Shah made baseless accusations against him and his family, alleging that they were involved with the Taliban.
The petitioner contended that these accusations have defamed him, his family, and the Gandapur clan.
The court has issued a notice to Brigadier (R) Mahmood Shah to explain why he made such baseless statements.
