A few months ago, Dave Thorpe’s doctor warned him that he needed to change his lifestyle due to several health issues.

Dave Thorpe explained that he was overweight, sluggish, and ate too much, which led to Type 2 diabetes, as well as blood pressure and cholesterol problems.

His doctor advised him to make lifestyle changes immediately. In February of this year, Dave set swimming as his goal for better health and achieved it last Friday.

He stated that it was the best decision he has made so far, teaching him that he is still young enough to start anything new.

He also mentioned that swimming is an excellent activity for staying away from distractions like the internet, smart devices, and emails.
