Nawaz Sharif: Country Is being neglected, promises of justice are empty

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Nawaz Sharif has stated that the country is not being treated well and that a person wandering on the streets was told, “Come, we will give you justice.”

An meeting chaired by Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Marium Nawaz reviewed matters related to the Chief Minister Solar Panel Financing Scheme.

During the discussion, Nawaz Sharif mentioned that no one can afford the electricity bill; it has become a problem for everyone, not just the poor.

He said that during their tenure, they ended load shedding and kept electricity rates under control. By 2017, electricity bills were lower and the dollar rate was down, but from 2018 onwards, the situation deteriorated and the poor suffered.

The former Prime Minister of Pakistan questioned why there was a need to inflict injustice on the country and who brought the IMF back after they had sent it away.

He emphasized that the country is not being treated well, a developing nation has been thrown into a pit, and decision-makers need to think about it.

He urged them to care about the people and do whatever is necessary to provide relief.
