Senior Pakistani actor Naumaan Ijaz has responded to critics of the extravagant wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
The wedding of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Asia’s wealthiest businessman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant concluded on July 14 in Mumbai.
The lavish ceremonies, which began seven months ago, featured Bollywood stars, Indian cricketers, and influential figures from around the world.
While the grand wedding has been widely discussed on social media and international media, many celebrities have criticized Mukesh Ambani for flaunting his wealth amidst rising global poverty.
In response, Naumaan Ijaz took to Instagram to address the criticism. He posted a smiling photo of himself and expressed his confusion over who the critics of the wedding are.
Ijaz suggested that people should stop criticizing the Ambani wedding, as it is their personal affair, happiness, and money.
He advised critics to either enjoy the wedding or ignore it, stating that offering opinions and criticism is not appropriate.
The senior actor further advised critics to instead pray for the day when they might be wealthy enough to host such a grand wedding themselves.
