Mohsin Naqvi to assume ACC presidency in December

Karachi: Current PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will take over as the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) for a two-year term.

The current head, Jay Shah, was elected unopposed as ICC Chairman yesterday and will assume responsibilities at the global governing body from December 1.

Jay Shah, who became ACC Chairman for a second term in January, will complete his one-year term. Reports about Mohsin Naqvi becoming ACC President had already been circulating.

His appointment will be confirmed at the ACC General Meeting at the end of the year, and he will hold the position for two years.
