Lahore: The Registrar of the Lahore High Court has scheduled hearings for the petitions challenging the ATC’s decision to grant physical remand in twelve cases involving the founder of PTI.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh and Justice Anwara Haq Pannu will hear the case on July 22.
The PTI founder, through Barrister Salman Safdar, filed twelve petitions in the Lahore High Court, arguing that the Lahore ATC did not properly review the record when granting physical remand.
The petition states that the founder is already in jail and that the police have previously conducted the investigation.
It argues that the law was not considered when granting physical remand and requests that the Lahore High Court nullify the ATC’s decision in these twelve cases.
