The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has approved a resolution regarding the “Azm-e-Istahkam” operation, stating that the federal government should consult the provincial government before making any decisions.
The resolution was presented by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Law Minister Aftab Alam. It addresses rumors about the federal government initiating a new operation in KP under the guise of Azm-e-Istahkam.
The resolution also opposes any ban on PTI and clarifies that the founder of PTI had previously stated that a military operation is not a solution to the problem.
According to the resolution, the federal government must consult the provincial government before making any decisions, and the federal government will be held responsible for any anticipated damage from the operation.
