Karachi: The spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Authority stated that this protest is held annually against the Indian government’s illegal action of August 5, 2019.
Banners, pennants, and flags supporting the Kashmiri people have been displayed at airports across the country, including Karachi Airport, as well as on routes leading to and from the airports.
According to the CAA spokesperson, documentary films and songs about struggle and freedom were also played at the airports to express solidarity with the Kashmiris.
The spokesperson added that the purpose of observing Kashmir Black Day is to remind the world that Pakistan stands with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for freedom.
