Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor, known as ‘Bebo’, has revealed that she was an excellent student and once aspired to become a lawyer.
Kareena Kapoor, now a top actress in Bollywood, began her career with the film ‘Refugee’ alongside Abhishek Bachchan in 2000.
Before entering the showbiz industry, she was highly focused on her studies and even took a summer course at Harvard University.
In a recent interview, Kareena Kapoor shared that her parents never pressured her into choosing a specific career nor did they push her into acting.
She stated that her parents always wanted her to pursue what she was passionate about and choose a career based on her own interests and desires.
Kareena recalled being an outstanding student, describing her time at Harvard’s summer program as one of the best periods of her life, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
She mentioned that the program made her independent and confident, and she had initially wanted to become a lawyer, though it did not come to fruition.
After returning to India from Harvard, Kareena decided to enter the world of acting, a decision that her parents supported and were content with.
She concluded that after stepping into acting, she realized her true passion and enthusiasm was for acting, not law.
