Karachi Court grants permanent custody of abducted girl to parents

The East Family Court has ruled in Karachi to permanently grant custody of a young girl, who was allegedly abducted and married, to her parents.

During a hearing at the Karachi City Court, the East Family Court decided to award permanent custody of the girl to her parents.

The court remarked that until the girl reaches adulthood, she will remain with her parents. This decision is made with the child’s welfare in mind.

The court also instructed the parents to submit personal bonds worth 200,000 rupees.

Additionally, the court emphasized that the girl’s needs, including education and nutrition, must be taken care of, and she must be presented in court whenever summoned.

The girl has expressed her willingness to go with her parents in court, and Zahid Ahmed failed to prove that she was not being treated well.

Records show that the parents made significant efforts to ensure the girl’s safety.
