Kamila Harris struggles to assure donors on Biden’s election chances

It has become difficult for Democrats to assure donors of President Joe Biden’s victory in the upcoming presidential election, according to U.S. media.

Vice President Kamala Harris met with 300 Democratic donors at the White House to discuss preparations for the upcoming election.

During the meeting, Harris criticized Donald Trump and highlighted the risks posed by his Project 2025.

Harris briefly mentioned Biden but did not answer questions about him.

Media reports suggest that it has become challenging for Democratic donors to be reassured about Biden’s chances of winning.

Harris tried to convince the donors not to worry too much, claiming that they would win the election.

However, most donors felt that her assurances lacked substance.

The meeting occurred amid increasing pressure for Biden to step down, with many Democrats considering Harris a better alternative.

Recent surveys indicate that a majority of Democrats believe Harris would be a stronger presidential candidate.

Specifically, 6 out of 10 Democrats view Harris as a better presidential contender, while 2 out of 10 do not.
