Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood and South Indian film actor Kamal Haasan has traveled to the U.S. to study artificial intelligence (AI).
According to Indian media, the 69-year-old Haasan left for the U.S. last week and has enrolled in a prestigious American institution to study AI.
The report states that Haasan has signed up for a three-month AI course but will only be able to attend for a month and a half, or 45 days, due to his professional commitments before returning to India.
Haasan’s decision to pursue AI education comes at a time when technology is rapidly playing a significant role in the film industry.
Fans are intrigued by Haasan’s decision and are curious about how he plans to incorporate this knowledge into his future projects.
It is noted that Haasan was last seen in the blockbuster films ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Indian 2’.
He is set to appear alongside Bollywood star Salman Khan in an upcoming film directed by Atlee, with shooting expected to start in January 2025.
