Jos Buttler out of The Hundred Tournament due to injury

English captain Jos Buttler has been ruled out of The Hundred tournament due to an injury.

Reports indicate that Buttler, who was representing the Manchester Originals in The Hundred, has been sidelined due to a calf injury.

He missed the first three matches of the tournament.

Managing Director Rob Key stated that after taking a break following the T20 World Cup, Buttler sustained the injury during preparations for the tournament.

The scan results were unsatisfactory, necessitating his withdrawal from the competition.

Buttler shared an update with his fans on Instagram, stating that playing in The Hundred this year has become difficult.

He wished the Manchester Originals well for the rest of the campaign and promised to return to the English team once fit.

It is worth noting that Buttler has faced several calf injuries in recent years and was also absent from the T20 International series against Pakistan.
