Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel’s red lines are very clear and that they will respond to any attack with two retaliatory strikes, regardless of where it occurs in the world.
In a weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu described Iran as the center of evil and emphasized that Israel is fighting a multifaceted war against it.
Regarding potential retaliation from Iran or Hezbollah for the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, Netanyahu said that Israel is prepared for any situation and warned that any aggressive action would come with a heavy price for the enemy.
Netanyahu also threatened Iran and Hezbollah, stating that if there is any retaliation for Haniyeh’s killing, Israel would respond with two strikes for every one attack.
He warned that Israel’s reach extends far and wide, including to Gaza, Yemen, Beirut, and any other place where it is needed.
Netanyahu urged the military leadership to track down Hamas leaders in underground tunnels and eliminate them wherever they are found.
It is noteworthy that on July 31, Ismail Haniyeh was killed in a missile attack at a highly sensitive guesthouse in Tehran, an attack for which both Iran and Hamas have blamed Israel.
However, Israel has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility.
