Gaza: Over 60 members of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s family have been martyred since the Israeli aggression began on October 7.
Today, Ismail Haniyeh himself was martyred in Iran.
According to Palestinian news agencies, Israel has repeatedly targeted Haniyeh’s family in bombings to break the strong and resilient Hamas leader.
In April of this year, the Israeli army bombed Ismail Haniyeh’s family car, resulting in the deaths of his three sons Hazem, Amer, and Mohammed along with three granddaughters and one grandson.
Similarly, in June, an Israeli airstrike on a refugee camp in Gaza killed ten members of Haniyeh’s family, including his sister.
Moreover, the Israeli army targeted Haniyeh’s brothers-in-law, grandsons, and daughters-in-law. In total, over 60 members of Ismail Haniyeh’s family have been martyred in the struggle for Palestinian freedom.
Despite these attacks, which failed to undermine Haniyeh’s resolve, he was martyred today in a missile attack near a hotel in Iran where he was attending the inauguration of the newly elected president.
