Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has sent Rauf Hassan to jail on judicial remand.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of the Islamabad ATC heard the remand case of Rauf Hassan, during which PTI leader’s lawyer, Ali Bukhari, appeared before the court.
During the hearing, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) requested a 7-day physical remand of Rauf Hassan, which the court denied, sending the PTI leader to jail on judicial remand.
The court also issued notices for August 6 regarding Rauf Hassan’s post-arrest bail application.
Previously, the Islamabad court had ordered the release of PTI leader Rauf Hassan in a case registered under the PECA Act, but his release had not been executed.
