Iran condemns Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech to US Congress

Washington: Iran has condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to the US Congress.

In a statement on social media, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson criticized the US and its legislative body, Congress, for hosting someone who has waged war in Gaza for ten months.

The spokesperson accused Netanyahu of slaughtering Palestinian children daily and claimed that the US, along with Congress, was eagerly applauding and praising him for his actions.

The spokesperson described Netanyahu as a criminal and the Israeli regime as illegitimate, noting that despite over nine months of genocide, Netanyahu’s supporters continue to cheer and embrace him.

This statement from Iran came in response to Netanyahu’s call for the formation of a coalition against Iran during his address to the joint session of Congress. Netanyahu is currently on a visit to the US.
