Mumbai: Indian actor Rajeev Khandelwal has stated that supporting a ban on Pakistani artists in India to please politicians is not appropriate.
In a recent interview, the actor emphasized that the entertainment industry should remain separate from politics.
He noted that people desire peace, while politicians spread religious hatred by labeling issues as Hindu-Muslim.
Rajeev Khandelwal said that politicians should not have the authority to impose bans on artists, and such actions should not occur.
He added that the notion that the Pakistani government sends artists trained as secret agents is incorrect, as they have always received love and respect from Pakistan.
