In the match held in Dambulla, Pakistan women won the toss and elected to bat.
Sidra Ameen scored 25, Tuba Hassan 22, and Fatima Sana remained unbeaten with 22 runs off 16 balls.
Apart from these three, no other batter could stay long at the crease, and the entire Green Shirts team was bowled out for 108 runs in the final over.
For India, Deepti Sharma took 3 wickets, while Renuka, Pooja, and Shriyanka took 2 wickets each.
Chasing Pakistan’s target of 109 runs, Indian openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana provided an 85-run start for the first wicket.
Mandhana scored 45 and Shafali 40 runs, while Dayalan Hemalatha made 14 runs.
The Indian women’s team easily achieved the target in the 15th over with the loss of 3 wickets, thus defeating Pakistan by 7 wickets.
