Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, has lodged a challenge in the Lahore High Court against the Anti-Terrorism Court’s (ATC) decision to grant physical remand in 12 different cases.
Represented by Barrister Salman Safdar, Khan submitted 12 petitions to the Lahore High Court. In his petitions, Khan contends that the ATC did not adequately examine the records before approving the physical remand.
He argues that the police have already conducted their investigations while he was incarcerated, and asserts that the legal framework was not duly considered when the remand was authorized.
Khan is seeking the Lahore High Court’s intervention to annul the physical remand orders issued by the ATC in these 12 cases.
