In Colombo, during the ICC meetings, the budget for the 2025 Champions Trophy was approved.
Sources indicate that the budget for the Champions Trophy 2025 was approved on the final day of the ICC meetings.
The budget for the Champions Trophy was jointly prepared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the ICC.
PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, also attended the ICC meetings in Colombo.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan is set to host the 2025 Champions Trophy, scheduled to take place in three cities across Pakistan in February and March 2025.
The PCB has submitted the schedule for the 2025 Champions Trophy to the ICC for final approval. The PCB has scheduled all of India’s matches in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, though India has not yet made an official announcement about traveling to Pakistan.
On the other hand, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has already stated that Pakistan will host the tournament, and the Champions Trophy will take place in Pakistan.
The PCB has strongly denied all Indian claims regarding a hybrid model for the Champions Trophy.
