Hungary’s Losa defeated, Algerian Boxer Iman Khlef reaches semi-finals

Algerian boxer Iman Khlef has reached the semi-finals of the Paris Olympics.On the eighth day of the Olympic Games, Iman Khlef competed against Hungary’s Anna Luca Hamori in the women’s 66 kg category, defeating her opponent by a score of 5-0.

This victory not only secured her place in the semi-finals but also guaranteed her a bronze medal.

Iman Khlef made headlines earlier when her opponent in the first round, Italy’s Angela Carini, refused to fight her just 46 seconds into the match.

Angela stated that Iman did not meet her standards, so she would not fight her.

Before the fight against the Algerian boxer, the Hungarian boxer shared offensive posts on social media, which she removed after severe criticism.

The IOC supported Iman Khlef, stating that she is eligible to compete in women’s boxing. Later, the Italian boxer Angela apologized to Iman for her behavior.

The controversy surrounding Algerian boxer Iman Khlef intensified when Hungarian boxer Losa Hamori shared offensive posts on social media before their fight. She removed the posts after facing heavy criticism.
