Hariss Waheed: Villains have more freedom in acting than heroes

Lahore: Pakistani showbiz industry actor Hariss Waheed has stated that villains in films and dramas have more freedom than heroes.

In a discussion on a private TV program, the actor mentioned that villains have to put in a lot of effort as they drive the story and plot forward.

He explained that heroes often have less margin for flexibility, whereas villains have more room to shape their characters in various ways.

Hariss Waheed noted that his negative role as ‘Tabriz’ in the drama series “Jaan Jahan” received much acclaim, which he hadn’t anticipated.

The actor attributed the success to the strong storyline, excellent direction, and his own hard work, which was well-received by the audience.
