Karachi: The Governor of Sindh has announced that lunch will be provided to the protesters of Jamaat-e-Islami’s sit-in.
Kamran Tessori stated that the protesters will be served biryani. Previously, the Governor had provided breakfast, including parathas and tea, to the sit-in participants.
Kamran Tessori mentioned that he does not take anything from the public and donates his salary to JDC and Saylani Welfare.
He clarified that he is serving the protesters using his personal funds, not taxpayer money.
The Governor urged the young protesters to enroll in IT courses, suggesting that learning technology is more beneficial for making Pakistan powerful than participating in protests.
He added that the protesters are his guests and residents of Sindh, and serving them is his duty.
He also offered free rations for the families of those who cannot go to work due to the protest.
