Government and PCB in talks over Indian Team’s visit for ICC Champions Trophy: Rana Mashood

Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rana Mashood, has stated that the government and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are in discussions regarding the Indian team’s visit to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy.

The PCB is hosting the ICC Champions Trophy from February 19 to March 19, 2025.

The potential visit of the Indian team to Pakistan has become a topic of debate in both Pakistani and Indian media.

Indian media reports suggest that the Indian team will not travel to Pakistan, while Pakistani media has labeled these reports as propaganda.

Rana Mashood mentioned that discussions between the government and the PCB regarding the Indian team’s visit are ongoing.

He added that all teams, including India, should come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, though he noted that PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi could provide more details on the matter.
